Creative direction, design, and visual communications for the world’s leading longevity research DAO (decentralised autonomous organisation). The VitaDAO brand is the result of years of continuous research, collaboration, and calculated iteration since the organisation’s genesis in 2021. A unique design challenge, the VitaDAO brand language marries the spartan tastes of scientific researchers with the ireverant and subversive aesthetics of crypto and blockchain enthusiasts. The brand must constantly satisfy the criteria of inspiring hundreds of decentralised contributors to adopt it with zeal, and yet it should be robust enough to withstand manipulation by inexperienced hands. The result is a design system that stands on rock solid foundations, an illustration style that anticipates rapid iteration, and a communication style that weaves together the best parts of two previously disparate worlds.

Digital Ecosystem

The VitaDAO identity exists almost exclusively online. A cohesive tone of voice and reliable user experience when interacting with the DAO’s many digital touch points is paramount. Consistency creates a digital persona members identify with - and ensures that critical first impressions are presented to new audiences in a deliberate way.

Ongoing UX and UI design, as well as development, maintenance and constant evolution of the primary VitaDAO website - and creative direction of the many other digital spaces VitaDAO occupies is no small task, and one that our studio leans into with meticulous attention.
